ADHD Assessment

ADHD Women $600

We’ll explore how ADHD often shows up differently for women—things like constant mental overwhelm, masking, emotional intensity, and lifelong patterns that may have been overlooked. You’ll complete a few short questionnaires (including one designed specifically for women’s experiences) and we’ll have a detailed conversation about your history and daily life so we can get a clear, accurate picture.

All assessments come with a report and letter of diagnosis.

Women: Measures Used

  • SASI – gender-informed self-report

  • ASRS-v1.1– Symptom Checklist

  • WURS-25 – retrospective childhood symptoms

  • ACE+v.2 – semi-structured diagnostic interview

  • Collateral report partner/family member (if desired)

  • Comorbidity screeners as indicated: PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5, brief eating-disorder screen, substance-use screener, Mood Disorder Questionnaire

ADHD Men $600

We’ll carefully review the classic ADHD symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity both now and in childhood, using well-validated questionnaires and a thorough clinical interview. You’ll also have the chance to share how these challenges affect work, relationships, and everyday functioning so we can determine whether ADHD is present and what support would help most.

ADHD Children $600

We’ll gather information from you (as the parent) and your child’s teacher using trusted rating scales that look at attention, activity level, and related behaviors at home and school. Then we’ll talk together about your child’s development and daily life so we can understand the full picture and decide on the best next steps.

IMPORTANT BENEFITS AND LIMITATIONS

ADHD Assessment: Benefits and Limitations

Comprehensive ADHD Assessments for Women, Men, Adolescents, and Children 10 +

As a licensed professional counselor, I provide evidence-informed ADHD assessments that integrate validated rating scales, developmental history, clinical interviews, functional impairment assessment, and screening for common co-occurring conditions.

This approach helps identify patterns consistent with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) while also considering other factors that may contribute to similar symptoms. Current best practices emphasize the use of multiple sources of information rather than relying on any single questionnaire or test.

BENEFITS

  • Comprehensive evaluation of current symptoms and their impact across home, school, work, and relationships.

  • Consideration of childhood history and developmental patterns.

  • Screening for common co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, mood disorders, and substance use.

  • Use of validated assessment instruments and structured clinical interviews to support diagnostic decision-making.

  • Individualized recommendations for treatment, accommodations, and next steps.

LIMITATIONS

  • No assessment tool can diagnose ADHD on its own. Diagnosis is based on the integration of interview findings, rating scales, history, and clinical judgment.

  • ADHD symptoms can overlap with other mental health, medical, learning, and life-stress related concerns, which may affect diagnostic clarity.

  • These evaluations are clinical assessments and do not constitute comprehensive neuropsychological or psychological testing.

  • Some schools, employers, testing agencies, or medical providers may require a psychological or neuropsychological evaluation performed by a licensed psychologist to determine eligibility for certain accommodations or services.

Services are provided within the scope of my professional licensure as an Ed.D., LPC (Alaska and Texas) and Ed.D., LCPC (Kansas), and comply with applicable state laws and professional standards.
