Autism Assessment

20250411_124121.jpg

I offer three specialized autism assessment tracks: for teenagers, adult men, and adult women. Built on a shared, clinically rigorous foundation and customized with measures that match the unique presentation of each group. Every evaluation includes the MIGDAS-2, ABAS-3, WHODAS 2.0, and a structured diagnostic interview, plus population-specific tools for accurate differential diagnosis. All assessments are conducted via secure telehealth for clients in Alaska, Kansas, and Texas.

Autism Assessment for Women, Men & Teens

Comprehensive, telehealth autism evaluations tailored to how each group actually presents. Clear answers. Accommodation-ready documentation. Serving Alaska, Kansas & Texas.

LIMITATIONS AND BENEFITS

These evaluations are conducted by a doctoral-level Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (LCPC in Kansas) with specialized training in the listed measures (MIGDAS-2, ABAS-3, WHODAS 2.0, RCADS/CAARS, SASI, and structured diagnostic interviews). The assessments are multi-method, strength-based, and designed to clarify neurotype, document adaptive functioning and functional impairment, differentiate autism from ADHD/anxiety/mood concerns, and produce clear, accommodation-ready recommendations.

Benefits

  • Diagnostic clarity grounded in sensory-social interview (MIGDAS-2), adaptive functioning (ABAS-3), functional impairment (WHODAS 2.0), developmental history, and targeted screening for anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

  • Practical documentation for school supports, workplace accommodations, or personal understanding—written in a clear, usable report with a feedback session.

  • Developmentally and gender-informed approach: Tier 1 is tailored for teens (13–19); Tier 2 focuses on common adult-male presentation patterns; Tier 3 specifically addresses camouflaging, internalized symptoms, and complex emotional patterns more often seen in women.

  • Telehealth-friendly administration of the core measures, with a strength-based narrative that emphasizes individual differences rather than deficits alone.

  • Transparent differential diagnosis that considers co-occurring or alternative explanations (ADHD, anxiety, mood, trauma-linked patterns).

  • Provides a diagnosis, or the absence of one, for improved personal clarity and understanding.

 Please Read- IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS

  • This is a counseling/psychological evaluation, not a medical or psychiatric diagnostic evaluation performed by a physician, psychologist with medical privileges, or board-certified psychiatrist. Some schools, employers, insurance plans, disability agencies, or legal settings may require (or prefer) assessment by a licensed psychologist (PhD/PsyD), neuropsychologist, or physician.

  • Results are based on the clinician’s training, the specific tools listed, self- and parent-report, clinical interview, and clinical judgment. No single assessment is definitive; diagnosis remains a clinical formulation, not a laboratory test.

  • Implementation of accommodations ultimately depends on the receiving institution or agency.

  • Telehealth administration has practical limits (e.g., certain observational or performance-based testing may be restricted or adapted). In-person components, if needed, will be discussed in advance.

  • These packages do not include medical work-ups, genetic testing, or treatment (therapy, medication management, or ongoing care). A separate referral can be made if indicated.

  • Fees are for the evaluation and report only; insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed and is the client’s responsibility to verify.
